Steak Burrito is new to Elmhurst and they’re serving up authentic Mexican food with generous portions and fresh ingredients!
Whether you’re grabbing a burrito, tacos, or their loaded nachos, this is place delivers consistently good food without any fuss. So, if you haven’t been yet, Cinco de Mayo is the perfect excuse to check them out!
El Famous Burrito

El Famous Burrito is the kind of super casual, hole-in-the-wall spot that delivers on flavor every single time.
The food is amazing, they’ve got all the classic staples, and you can grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner any time of day. It’s not fancy, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re craving authentic Mexican food (the chicken tacos are my absolute favorite).
This is a true hidden gem in Elmhurst.

151 Kitchen | Bar

151 is hosting “Sip, Shake & Salt: A Corralejo Experience,” a hands-on tequila tasting and margarita-making class!
You’ll taste three Corralejo tequilas (Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo), learn the story behind the Corralejo Distillery, and craft your own margarita with seasonal flavor options. The experience includes shrimp ceviche served with fresh tortilla chips. This is a bar top/high top event, and tickets are $35 per person plus tax.
Arrive at 5:45 PM because the event starts promptly at 6:00 PM. No refunds, so make sure you’re committed! This is perfect if you want a more interactive, educational Cinco de Mayo celebration rather than just dinner and drinks.

Primos Locos

Not gonna lie, this one actually surprised me! Pints is running Cinco de Mayo specials all the way through May 5th, so you don’t have to wait until Tuesday to celebrate!
Their menu includes tacos al pastor, carne asada, quesabirria, and a spicy margarita. Whether you want to get a head start this weekend or celebrate on the actual day, Pints has you covered.
Plus, their beer garden is the perfect setting for a relaxed Cinco de Mayo celebration!

Manny’s Ale House
