Dipsy Desserts is opening its first brick-and-mortar location on Spring Road this summer!
The beloved local ice cream company, known for its homemade small-batch ice cream, is expanding from its Lake Street test kitchen to a full retail shop where customers can finally walk in and grab a scoop.
What is Dipsy Desserts?
Dipsy Desserts has been serving Elmhurst since 2017, specializing in fresh, handcrafted ice cream made right here in town. Unlike national chains, Dipsy sources all of their dairy from Sandwich, Illinois and makes every batch in-house at their Elmhurst facility.
Until now, Dipsy Desserts has operated primarily through:
- Their test kitchen on Lake Street (available for classes and private parties)
- Mobile ice cream carts for events (weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties)
- Special orders and catering services
