Join Spark and Alan of Novovino Wine Co. for an evening inspired by the shadowier corners of old-world wine country – where folklore, superstition, witchcraft and winemaking have crossed paths for centuries.
Alan will guide us through a tasting of at least four thoughtfully selected wines, weaving together the histories, places and legends surrounding each pour. Whether the evening takes us across several regions or deep into the stories of one, expect beautiful wines paired with tales of ritual, local lore and a little historical darkness.
And because discovering a favorite wine is half the fun, each guest will take home a bottle of theirs from the tasting.
Then, we’ll move from the cellar to the apothecary!
Each guest will create a custom fragrance “potion” from Spark’s scent library before pouring their blend into a large 3-wick cauldron vessel procured especially for the evening.
