FITT 60126 is a nonprofit sport and social club. They offer group fitness classes including spin bootcamps, TRX suspension training, and circuit intervals, all taught by certified instructors for men and women of all ages and fitness levels. Personal training is available in 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions.

Origin Story

FITT 60126 exists because its members refused to let it die. In May 2012, Jen Knuth opened FITT-Rx in an alley space off Commerce Street in downtown Elmhurst, the first boutique fitness studio of its kind in town.

Over seven years, it became more than a gym, it became a community. When Jen made the difficult decision to close in 2019, a group of longtime members banded together and decided to reopen it themselves as a nonprofit. They formed a board of directors, filed the paperwork, and on December 9, 2019, FITT 60126 officially launched.

The name comes from Elmhurst’s zip code, a nod to the hyper-local community that literally saved the gym. The transition preserved everything that made the original special while putting the community permanently in charge.
