Hey Elmhurst! August will be so much fun, and here's why. If you're new here, my name's Amara, and I do video marketing for small businesses, and I keep up on all things Elmhurst, so you don't have to. So here are some fun events you can't miss this August.

To reconnect with yourself, there's free Yoga in the Park at Elmhurst University every Tuesday evening. This runs through mid-September and it's hosted by FFC.

On August 5th, you can sip and stroll at Mies and Martinis. This is a stylish evening event at the Elmhurst Art Museum's McCormick House.

For one last family movie night, catch the final Movie in the Park of this season on August 7th at Wilder Park. They're showing A Minecraft Movie.

Now this one sounds kind of like a must. On August 13th, there's Goat Yoga through the Elmhurst Park District. You'll do 30 minutes of yoga, followed by 30 minutes of goat snuggles and cuddles, and obviously photos.

On August 15th, bring the whole crew to Berens Park for Park Palooza, and that's from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Football fans, mark your calendars. On August 28th, the Elmhurst History Museum opens their brand new exhibit called Bear Down: Football in the Windy City. This exhibit is celebrating over 140 years of Chicago football history.

And finally, to close out the month on August 30th, is Street Eats and Beats from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Hosted by the Lake York Business Association, this is a food truck festival with live music, dance performances, and a kids' activity zone.

There's so much to do this August, so be sure you save this video so you don't miss a thing.
