It’s always hard to see a local spot close, especially one that brought so much warmth to our community. These independent restaurants give Elmhurst its character and personality, and once they’re gone, we can’t get them back.

Aunt Tina's Kitchen has officially closed. They were located at 582 Lake Street. They were known for serving Southern-style comfort food favorites like ribs, catfish, and fried green tomatoes in a cozy, homey atmosphere.
