Candycopia Candy Shop Opens New Location in Elmhurst

Mentioned in this article:

Candycopia is opening April 9th in Elmhurst, but what can we actually expect?

I visited their Oak Park location to give you a preview!

What’s clear as soon as you walk in is that this place isn’t just for kids. It feels like a candy boutique with curated selections and thoughtful presentation throughout the entire space.

They have a massive bulk candy section where you order by weight, a Swedish Candy Pick-and-Mix bar with everything labeled (gluten-free, vegan, gelatin-free), and an entire international candy section with hidden gems from around the world. Plus, they carry candy and chocolates from local businesses!

But I’m most excited for their Dirty Soda Bar! Not into soda? Try their Loaded Water, which is the same concept just with sparkling water.

They open April 9th and Grand Opening Weekend (April 11-13) will have giveaways, samples, and a chance to win a full year of free candy!

Hey Elmhurst! Candycopia is opening April 9th, but what can we actually expect? Let's go check out their Oak Park location.

The big thing here is it's not just for kids, it's also for grown adults like me who have adult money, which is really fun.

They have tons of different candies. So right here is their bulk section, which you can come in and just order whatever you want by weight. And then over here is the Swedish candy Pick-and-Mix. Who doesn't love Swedish candy? Everything over here is labeled: gluten-free, vegan, gelatin-free, whatever your heart desires. And they have an entire international candy section, too, so you can find hidden candy gems from all over the world.

And now we're to the thing that I'm most excited for. They have a Dirty Soda Bar! This is the Princess Peach, but I got it with coconut cream. So good. And if you're not in the mood for soda, they actually have something called loaded water. So basically the same idea, just with sparkling water instead.

And something that speaks to all of us obviously is supporting local. So they also carry candy and chocolates from local businesses.

So, get ready Elmhurst, Candycopia is coming April 9th, and they're going to have a huge weekend full of fun giveaways, samples, and even the opportunity to win a full year of free candy. How cool is that?
