Hey Elmhurst! A crew of witches is riding through our town on October 24th. If you're new here, my name's Amara, and I do video marketing for small businesses, and I keep up on all things Elmhurst so you don't have to.
The Elmhurst Witches Ride is back for its fifth year this weekend. This event is all about a community of women in our town coming together to create some Halloween magic for the kids.
Basically what it is, is it's an hour-long bike ride where the witches line up on Spring Road, and then they take off at 4:00 PM sharp. And as they ride through town, they toss candy to kids waiting on the curbs.
The route winds through town on streets like Saylor, Crescent, Poplar, Church, Cottage Hill, and Eggleston before heading back to Spring Road.
I have the full route on our events calendar so you can find the best spot. So grab the kids, find a spot along the route, and get ready to catch some candy.
