And great news for gluten-free folks like me! They have gluten-friendly schiacciata bread! (It’s baked in the same facility, so it’s gluten-friendly rather than gluten-free, but still!)
They also have soups and salads if you’re looking for completely gluten-free options.

Hey Elmhurst! Pronto Italian Sandwiches is now open officially at 105 South York. If you're new here, my name is Almar, and I do video marketing for small businesses, and I keep up on all things Elmhurst so you don't have to.
So, they're mostly known for their schiacciata bread. So, that's what gets it really fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside. Unfortunately, I am gluten-free, so I can't partake, but the photos look amazing. If you are gluten-free like me, they do have soups and salads, so there is something that we can work with.
Well, this is an awesome turn of events. They actually have gluten-friendly schiacciata bread. It is baked in the same facility, though, I should preface that. It's gluten-friendly, not gluten-free. It's massive. This actually makes me very happy, and it looks absolutely amazing. Let's see how it is. Very good.
