Spread love and brighten someone’s day this Valentine’s Day! The Elmhurst Art Museum is partnering with Park Place Retirement Community & Assisted Living Center to create handmade Valentine’s cards for seniors. Last year, they delivered over 400 special cards and they’re aiming to do it again!
Just pick up a FREE card-making kit from the covered bin outside the museum’s main entrance (available starting January 22nd). Create your heartfelt Valentine’s card at home and drop your finished card in the “cards” bin outside the museum by February 10th!
The museum delivers all cards to Park Place residents on Valentine’s Day!
This is such a sweet way to share the Valentine’s Day love with Elmhurst seniors who might not receive many cards. Plus, it’s a great activity to do with kids or grandkids!

Looking for a creative, fun Valentine’s Day date? Pinot’s Palette is hosting special Valentine’s-themed paint and sip classes all weekend long!
They’re offering a variety of romantic painting options including couples canvases that fit together when finished, fun black-light events that make your paintings glow, and classic single-canvas classes with Valentine’s themes like “Van Gogh’s Rosey Lane” and “To The Moon And Back.”
What’s included: All painting supplies, step-by-step instruction, and the option to bring your own wine or beverages (BYOB!). No experience necessary, just bring your creativity and sense of fun!
